UPDATE 9/26/25: Hydra Irrigation contacted me on Monday and offered to have James, who has over 20 years of irrigation system experience, to fix the problems with my system at no additional cost. James arrived on time with a can do attitude. He explained the equipment that he was going to use to locate my sprinkler valve box and patiently answered my questions. James located the valve boxes for four of my zones clustered together, including the one for the problematic zone 5. He cleared the grass on top of the four valve boxes for ease of location if needed again. James replaced the solenoid for zone 5 and made recommendations for replacing sprinkler heads damaged by mowing. I now have water for all eleven zones thanks to Hydra Irrigation. Original Post - 9/20/25 I hired Hydra Irrigation to fix a short in one zone and to adjust a few heads in another zone. The appointment time was 2 PM. Matt called twice to inform me that he was delayed and arrived at 4:20 PM. I emphasized that my priority was the short in the one zone as my lawn is being aerated and seeded this week. Matt walked around my lawn for almost an hour with a metal detector trying to find the sprinkler system wires/valves box. His partner tapped the ground at various locations to see whether they could locate the wires/valve box. I told them where I thought the irrigation valve box was located, but they did not dig at that location and only tapped the ground with a tool and listened with the metal detector. Matt indicated that he was getting interference from my landscaping lighting. I told him that I did not have landscaping lighting. He then stated that other electricity was interfering. When it was close to the end of an hour, to avoid additional costs, I requested a bill, which I did not receive, and provided a check for the $120 service fee. All that I actually received for the $120 was one sprinkler head uncovered from the grass. I declined Matt's suggestion of further evaluation and the usage of better equipment by Hydra Irrigation. I am thoroughly disgusted by this experience.

I am extremely pleased that I contacted this company to restore functionality to my sprinkler system. Matt arrived punctually and performed an excellent job bringing my system back from winterization. He also replaced four sprinkler heads and tested the system to confirm its proper operation. Matt also ensured that my sprinkler system was configured correctly for optimal performance. He was very meticulous in explaining his process throughout the service. I will certainly consider utilizing their services again in the future if necessary!

So glad I called this company ( had no idea who to trust!) to get my sprinkler system working again. Matt arrived earlier than scheduled!! Matt did an awesome job repairing/replacing the backflow preventer. He also replaced two sprinkler heads and ran the system to insure everything was working properly. Matt was very through in explaining what he was doing along the way. I will definitely be using them again if needed!!

Matt was very friendly and thorough. He answered all of our questions and made some recommendations. This company was easy to set up service with and prompt with getting us an appointment. I'm not sure about pricing as we were told our invoice would be emailed to us. Overall, the experience was easy and good. Our system is back up and running! Grateful.
